Mailbag Art Museum
I came across an interesting art project via Audrey Kawasaki's blog.
{images via blog}
Audrey made a paper cut out for Sarah Muis's Maibag Art Museum Project.
Which is basically a little art swap, explained here.
I think it's a great idea!

Year of a Million Dreams
When I first laid eyes on this photo I was already getting exited for the new Snow White movie Disney is making. And it is starring Rachel Weisz!

{click for a larger view}
Except that Disney is not making this movie...
These beautifully stylized photographs were taken by Annie Leibovitz for a Disney campaign called "Year of a Million Dreams".

As you can see Bambi looks stunning, and yes, Rachel Weisz does too.

New York Barbershop
I recently treated my love to a visit at the New York Barbershop.

It's like taking a little trip back in time when you enter the shop. The ‘retro’ interior is from New York in the thirthies.

Men not only come to this place to have a haircut and an Italian shave, they also find their moment of rest, having a good espresso or relaxing in one of the comfortable chairs with the smooth sounds of Cuban music or the sweet voice of Frank Sinatra.

+ bought a little gift

A ‘gentleman’s day out’ starts at New York Barbershop, or what a journalist in a welknown Dutch newspaper once wrote; “A visit to NYB is more than visiting a hairdresser, it’s like a short vacation, nothing more and nothing less”.
We couldn't agree more!
We will definitely visit again...

What's in my bag part 2

I thought it would be fun to do another "what's in my bag" post, since my previous post is a little out of date...
